I went to the Can Town Project at Anime Detour. It makes me happy to see what we Homestucks can do for a community.
Sadly, I forgot to bring a can in my bag to donate, but they had little buttons for sale and all proceeds went to the same charity as the cans did, so it was nice to contribute what I could. :3

Pittsburgh, PA Can Town at Tekkoshocon 2013.
I admit, I was announced this event a little too late and not everyone brought Cans, but rest assured everyone had a good time I thought. We also had a Mayor elected.
Seattle Can Town!! Spring 2013 :D I had such an amazing time running this event, thank you so much Ema for being a lovely help, and a special thanks to Ema’s mom, Penny, who brought us so many hand warmies on such a cold/wet day, and drove all of the cans to the food bank for us!!
Thank you as well to everyone who showed up and brought cans, I am super proud of the turnout and I know we have a special group here, you’re all special, Wastucks <3

Can Town Newmarket 2012
It went really slowly at first! But over all I don’t think it was too bad. M family was there and a few of my friends were able to come, and then a young girl (who wasn’t standing alone in her bedroom, she was actually skating with her dad) saw us and recognised the Homestuck shirts! And she went home and told her sister who then came over too! It was really cool, they were both busy but popped on over in the ten minutes or so they were free! Thank you for that!
We had lots of family friends come, and some strangers would walk by and ask some questions or give us a look, and then come back with some food! It was very nice, thanks to everyone who helped out and thank you to those who came too!
